Beijing Multigrass Formulation Co., Ltd. was established in 1997 and mainly specializes in researching, producing and marketing herb-source insecticides, fungicides, and organic fertilizers. These products have been exported to more than 40 countries and regions in the world, and our company has successfully created the international brand of "Baicao". In 2006, the foundation of Beijing Multigrass Agro-chemical Chian Co., Ltd. stands for the beginning of Beijing Multigrass's chain store franchise operation nationally. It is a branded chain-store mould enterprise for natural source pesticides and new type of fertilizers.

Our company is well-known that Chinese herbs have many medicinal uses, such as Anthelmintic, Antibacterial, Antifungal, Antipruritic, Astringent, Bitter, Carminative, Diuretic, Febrifuge, Parasiticide, Pectoral, Stomachic and Tonic. However, few people know that the herbs are also important sources of insecticide and parasiticide for agricultural and daily life use. China has a long history for using herbs as insecticide. In 1596, Li Shizhen wrote in Compendium of Materia Medica: that many herbs such as Stemona Japonia, Sophora flavescens, Chinaberry, cypress and polar can be used to kill pests. In the 5th century, people in Rome and Mediterranean Area also used veraturn nigrum to protect their seedling from pest.

The active ingredient in pesticide-herbs varies with different herbs, different part of herbs, and different age of herbs, even in different soil and environment where herbs grow.

Based on Traditional Chinese Herbal Medicine Science and plenty of insecticide-herb sources on high mountains along the Great Wall, plus advanced extracting technology and facilities, a series of herb-source pesticides both for filed crops and house sanitation have been developed by Beijing Multigrass Formulation Co., Ltd. A Sino-Japanese Joint Venture was established in 1997 after a decade of research and field experiments both in China and Japan.
